ARC Ambassador Program

Want to contribute something More than this to the Antelope Running Club?

Starting in early 2026 we are introducing the Antelope Running Club Ambassador Program. Ambassadors will help keep the vibes high for a 1 year period, supporting with the following roles: Engagement Ambassador, Spotlight Ambassador, Regional Host Ambassadors, Design Ambassador and Community “Table” Ambassador, 

Each of these roles contributes to the continued growth and success of ARC by fostering engagement, celebrating members, promoting community spirit, and enhancing the overall member experience. If you are passionate, creative, and community-oriented, we would love to have you as part of our team!

General Information for All Roles:
Time Commitment: Varies based on role and event schedule. Ambassadors are expected to be proactive in their responsibilities and manage time effectively.
Location: Local, depending on role. Some roles may require attending or hosting virtual events or meetings.
Compensation: This is a volunteer position, but there will be discounts and surprising delights.

Engagement Ambassador (2-3 members)
 The Engagement Ambassadors are key to fostering community interaction, providing engaging content, and celebrating the diversity within the ARC community. This role requires individuals who are outgoing, creative, and proactive in making connections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Topic Tuesday: Develop and post engaging, community-focused questions or topics every Tuesday to spark conversations and engagement across social media platforms or within community events.
  • Race Shoutouts: Recognize and celebrate members participating in various races, whether they are local, national, or international. Share race results, milestones, and any personal achievements.

Skills & Qualifications:
Strong communication skills
Creative mindset with a passion for community engagement
Comfortable with social media and content creation

Spotlight Ambassador
 The Spotlight Ambassador is responsible for showcasing outstanding members of the ARC community in a meaningful way. They will create the Antelope Spotlight, highlighting members, their stories, and achievements every quarter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create the Antelope Spotlight content quarterly, showcasing individual member stories, milestones, or accomplishments within the ARC community.
    Work closely with selected members to gather personal stories, photos, and quotes.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Captain to cross-promote the spotlights.
Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Ability to interview and connect with community members
Organized and deadline-oriented

Host Ambassadors
Hosts Ambassadors are responsible for planning and leading regular (at least monthly) group runs in a particular city/area, ensuring that participants have a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and lead regular group runs for ARC members of all levels.
  • Ensure all participants feel included and supported throughout the run.
  • Promote group runs on social media and within the community, encouraging participation.
  • Foster an environment of fun, motivation, and camaraderie during each run.
Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to create a welcoming environment for people of all skill levels

Design Ambassador [this position has been filled]
The Design Ambassador is responsible for all design-related tasks for ARC, to create visually appealing and on-brand designs for events, merchandise, and promotional materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all designs align with the ARC brand and messaging.
  • Assist with brainstorming creative concepts for future campaigns and events.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proficient in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and design principles
Ability to translate ideas into impactful visuals
Experience with merchandise design is a plus

Community “Table” Ambassador
The "Table" Ambassador plays a crucial role in representing ARC at key events, ensuring that the ARC presence is well-established and engaging for event participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and manage ARC tables at key events such as DSFR, Runaway Jim, and others.
  • Engage with event attendees, share information about ARC, and promote upcoming events or opportunities.
  • Ensure all materials (brochures, flyers, branded merchandise) are stocked, organized, and displayed attractively.
  • Collect contact information for new community members and provide them with event details.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Outgoing, energetic, and approachable demeanor
Ability to set up and manage event booths or tables efficiently
Organizational skills and attention to detail
